In regards to the writing...

As far as the writing goes, I think this is a very well put together edition of the Norton Introduction to Literature. The writing and format is smooth, easy to read and understand. I've used earlier editions in different classes but I think this one has to be my favorite.
Price wise, it's expensive to buy but Amazon has a relatively cheap rental price available.
